How party mode works
Open the board
On a TV, laptop or tablet, open Play and pick your sport and game. The screen shows a room code and a QR code.
Phones join
Everyone scans the code or types it at halftimegame.app/join. They pick a name and an emoji. No app, no account.
Play together
Questions and the scoreboard stay on the big screen. Answers, picks and votes stay secret on each phone until the reveal.
No phones handy? Play on one screen and pass it around — secret answers get their own handoff.
Everyone plays together
TV, iPhone, Android, any browser — one room code puts everyone in the same game.

The board runs the game; each phone is a private controller.
Questions
Is it free?
Playing in your browser is free. The apps for iPhone, Apple TV and Android are on their way.
Do my friends need to download anything?
No. Phones join in the browser with the room code or QR code. The person hosting can use a TV, laptop or tablet.
What ages is it for?
Every game style is for everyone except Drink When. 18+ mode is off by default; switching it on asks everyone to confirm they’re 18 or older and unlocks drinking games and sips. Drink responsibly — water counts.
Is there any betting?
No. Over/Under picks and every other game score points only. There are no odds, no money and no prizes.
Do I need internet?
Party mode connects every phone to the board through the internet. In the apps, playing on one shared screen also works offline.
Which languages?
English, Spanish and French — the game follows each phone’s language, so a mixed room just works.
